We had the chance to get an in-depth interview with Mr.Joe Osawaye, who gave delightful insight on the authentic African restaurant 'Kiza,' Dubai's first dining experience that offers both Africans and Expats a memorable experience, which sets a multicultural feel bringing 'Africa to Dubai.'
Renowned for its crafted interior, vibrant colors and mouthwatering menu, from all four parts of Africa, Kiza doesn't fail to offer a diverse range of foods. From the popular Nigerian dish called 'Jollof Rice' to Kenya's scrumptious grilled lamb 'Nyama Choma,' there's an option for everyone.
"Kiza is a pan-African restaurant with an international feel, giving everyone and anyone to experience the ins and out of Africa," Mr. Osawaye exclaimed.
The resto-lounge offers more than just a diversified menu. The hymns of Africa's Sahara, cultural art, and tribal fashion take each customer on an experience to remember. Just last year alone, Kiza participated in a fashion show called 'Made in Africa' to unleash its creativity. The show shocked its audience with the display of fantastic fashion pieces from various African designers, representing the modern and stylish way of African dressing.
Africa has so much, yet to be discovered, it is known to be the 'hidden gem' of the world. Kiza educates people of the many African cultures throughout its entertainment and engagement with people. Mr. shares how this eventful day, offered non-Africans the opportunity to understand the colorful fashion style . Mr. Osawaye agrees that ,Dubai is multicultural in shaping people and learning about other culture; Kiza offers a whole new perspective of the 'New Africa' with Africa emerging with Western countries , it has allowed places Kiza to use the African heritage as a way to teach about music , art, food and fashion.
"The beauty and uniqueness of Dubai are that all the 200 nationalities bring their cultures into Dubai and it becomes a fantastic melting point and a good place to understand the world."
Mr, Osawaye explains, Kiza has also had the opportunity to meet other nations, there's been a connection and a sharing experience, changing people and accepting people. Marking its trademark -Tomorrow Africa, Kiza is one not to forget to bring rhythm and the taste of Africa all in one; it has been an excellent example in the engagement of other cultures bringing all the nations under one roof.
