Focusing on the culture and diversity in Dubai, I wanted this blog to have a positive, diverse feel using other people's thoughts and experiences while living in Dubai. I interviewed two students from Middlesex University to explore their cultural backgrounds and interest in the Dubai culture. Dubai-listed as one of the 'diverse city' with over 200 nationalities I call myself lucky to be living there. This project has been an eye-opener for me as I have met people just like me; international students who moved to Dubai to study and others lived here all their lives, although not necessarily from Dubai. Middlesex University being an international university with over 2500 students from over 90 nationalities gives students like us, the whole university experience on learning and making friends from various cultures.
I was fascinated to learn about these two individuals (Shereen Ahmed and Elie Nasr) as I got the chance to ask them questions that I wouldn't usually ask them on a daily basis, so it was interesting to learn about these two individuals as part of my cultural studies.
